Hudson's Hope is a small town in northeastern British Columbia, Canada, located at the mouth of the Peace River. It is part of the Peace River Regional District and has a population of about 1,000 people. The community was founded in the early 20th century during the construction of the W.A.C. Bennett Dam, which was completed in 1967 and created the Williston Reservoir. Hudson's Hope is primarily a forestry and agricultural community, with some hydroelectric power generation.
